Practice Areas
Marriage Counseling Between Ad Agencies and Marketers
I significantly improve difficult or simply non-optimal client-agency relationships, whether the issue is financial (client is unprofitable for agency or agency is too expensive for client), workflow, work quality, or chemistry. And agencies need not fear my involvement, as I contractually promise not to participate in an agency review. My role is strictly to make things better, not suggest or facilitate a divorce.
Executive or Senior Coaching/Mentoring
Too many senior- and executive-level people are really not skilled or good managers of people. I work one-on-one with a senior or executive manager to turn him or her into a great manager—someone who gets the absolute best and most out of each team member, and the boss for whom people will love to work.

Marketing and Management Consulting
I provide C-Suite management and senior marketers with independent perspective, thoughtful analysis, and customized solutions to their most difficult business and marketing challenges: strategic, organizational, process, management development, and executional.

Key Accomplishments
- Led the consulting team hired by Warner Bros. to develop and recommend a brand strategy platform for the then just-acquired Harry Potter brand. Prior to Warner Bros. filming the first Harry Potter movie, my team provided the strategic roadmap for Warner Bros. to market the Harry Potter brand and its various products that would be implemented across all key revenue producing divisions: domestic and international theatrical, home entertainment/DVD, consumer products and licensing, WB retail stores (which existed then), and promotional partnerships.
- As CEO of a Grey subsidiary company, inherited a division suffering seven figure losses with a neglected human resource/talent pool. Immediately initiated an aggressive program to recruit better talent, dramatically improve the agency’s creative product, and develop new clients. Within one year, grew the topline over 20%, and improved bottom-line profitability from a seven-figure loss to a multi-million dollar pre-tax profit.
- Assumed oversight of the Hilton Hotels global account, which had been unprofitable at Dailey and other Interpublic ad agencies for over 20 consecutive years, and developed a new staffing model that within one year delivered the highest profit margin of any client account within Dailey.
